The first report of a police vehicle in the driveway of the Gwinnco Muffler Shop on the evening of April 15^th, 1993 was made by Tony McWaters on April 24^th, 1993. Mr. McWaters stated that on that evening he was driving north on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, and when he passed the muffler shop he observed what he called as a Gwinnett County Police car in the driveway. He described the police vehicle as a Ford with large yellow stripes. The time was between 8:45 and 9:00 PM. Mr. McWaters was never interviewed again by anyone.
