The police officer that had been monitoring traffic on PIB from at least 8:45 to 9:30 PM. Thomas Morris and his wife passed the Gwinnco driveway southbound to post their tax returns at Norcross where the post office remained open for late filers. The Morris’s must have past the driveway just after Dr. Brusie and Cindy Marsella passed the driveway and saw the police officer still monitoring traffic at just about 9:30 PM. This information was not in Mr. Morris’s statement but was volunteered by Investigator Burnette who took Mr. Orris’s statement at the preliminary hearing.
