The mysterious monitoring police car in the driveway of the
Gwinnco Muffler Shop leaves the driveway sometime after Dr. Brusie and Cindy
Marsella pass the shop from the south at approximately 9:30 PM.
During
the missing time period between 9:30 and 9:45 PM, when Pat Gimothy would see
the victim’s car alone in the driveway A good estimate would be about 9:40 PM.
Ron Flashner reported that he saw two civilian vehicles in the driveway to GCPD Investigator
Jack Burnette on the night that the victim’s body was found in the
driveway.
Significantly
Flashner added that that he saw 3 or 4 people around the cars. Flashner went on
to say that the car apparently parked closest to PIB was pointed out (away from
the muffler shop?). Since by this observation the vehicles were parked trunk to
trunk, this is probably when the dead or possibly only unconscious and dying
body of the victim was passed from the trunk of the first vehicle to the trunk
of her vehicle.
Ron Flashner made
one more important remark to Jack Burnette. He added that there was a cloud of
smoke across the highway right in from of the muffler shop driveway. The
victim’s son Michael was known to be badly in need of repairs. He had just been
ticketed by Sugar Hill Marshall Chris Robertson, because of this. On this
night, Michael Thompson’s car would be noted missing by his neighbor across the
street, James Craig when
that gentleman left for work at about 10:30 PM.
Ms. Gimothy’s sighting at
9:45 PM was confirmed by Sylvia
Sellers at about 9:50 and David McGaha who had to have passed the muffler
shop just minutes before
the blue light activity began at about 9:57 PM as determined by Ronald
Gravitt, or about 9:55 PM.
