This section is
really divided into two phases. Phase one is a general description of the crime
scene and a study to see how well the blood evidence in the victim’s automobile
corroborates the prosecution’s theories of the murder act. This phase consists
of images from 1 through 22.
Phase 2 consists
of the remainder of the images describes how and when the real murder was committed
and how the victim and her automobile were staged in the Gwinnco Muffler Shop
driveway so that it would seem that Mrs. Thompson was killed at that location.
Toward the end, there is even some evidence that the real killers may have
staged some evidence to implicate some other person.
The
killers had no idea that a police car would show up in the Gwinnco Muffler
driveway and that Michael Chapel would be arrested and convicted of Emogene
Thompson’s murder. That this happened was simply serendipitous for them. The
killers were simply trying to divert attention away from the location of the
murder and the identity of the murderers.
